Almost Home on Saturday

Our last day of golf at Land O Lakes, you tee off and play four holes in Michigan, cross the highway and finish up in Wisconsin. I wish they would put up a sign to acknowledge the fact, it could also be a money maker. We took a walk along the Mighty Mississippi at our overnight stop in La Crosse, Wisc. After the Farmers market on Sat morning, we were off for home, to also find some eagles at the #7 or #9 Lock and Dam, no luck, but I did see a pair of eagles high in the trees as I drove south on a lazy highway along the Mississsippi. We also found a scenic ride on the west side of the river, in Iowa, stopping for lunch at Guttenberg. About 15 miles south we made out last stop at the Field of Dreams. Happy Hour in Cedar Falls, Iowa, finished up our 1102.8 mile vacation. Greg slept most of the ride, especially after a meal......go figure.........carry on

I thought we would run into Ragbrai when stopping at the Field of Dreams. We did, but not the massive group. We did the recreation of coming out of the corn, by the beautiful farm house and Greg signing the guest book.
