Ankeny's 3rd trip to state tourney was
in 1974, first round matched up with
andrew and this lady, Kim Peters. She
was born with one arm, NOT a handicap.
She is a hall of fame athlete. Do you
remember those Charlie Taylor Converse
high top BB shoes? More defensive
pressure and Rhonda shooting 2!












this group starts with a Denise Long hook
shot.......stuck on the board and a try
to get it out.she was successful, but it
did not count! Remember pressure on the
out of bounds throw in? Two greats from
