shots from the top of the levee from Wayne, shared
throughout Llano Land north of the Rio
Grande Valley. The work on the levee
was going on in March, national mandate
after Katrina. They were shut down a few
days after finding a lot of gators.....I wonder
where they escaped to, along with all of
the snakes......I hope they went to Mexico.

more of the flood
Let's start with #18 green around July 13, and on the same
day #7 tee box. You can see the starter shack by hole #1
going north (left) to the green. Do you think the water shed
at #14 tee will get stolen or destroyed this summer?
Another shot of the cart barn and club house. Moving to
the park, water at the east end of Juarez street by the
levee. The road to the club house and looking from the
top of the levee and back to the clubhouse and cart barn.
OH MY! Carry on

I hate Alex
I don't like to use that word, HATE, but these photos show
what Alex the hurricane has done to my home in Texas.
The water is covering up the Llano Grande Golf Course.
The dumpster is located at an old bridge that was used
to take you to town. Where the men are standing and
lying on the ground, that is the road to the club house.
No one injured, no homes lost, about 15 employees are
out of a job and maybe about 20 of us might be out of
a workamper job in the fall. carry on.......
