www.donttearmedown.com
go to this web site.....
www.donttearmedown.com
it is in reference to a memorial for fallen soldiers, in Arizona.
there is an ACLU lawsuit out there, to have the cross on the
memorial torn down......it is on gov't land......does this mean
if this lawsuit wins, the memorials in DC will also have to be
torn down?
Support our troops, past, present, future.........

The Bowling Stadium in Reno
Here are some shots from the 4th or 5th floor of the stadium.
I was up there interviewing for a job and
missed the entrance ceremony. 78 alleys I think,
we bowled on the end one year. This is one reason
I love to come back every three years......this was
my 25th tournament, next year in El Paso I will
get my participation award. The blue carpet area
is the walk way from the meeting room behind the
alleys. They play music and you march out to your
starting lane. Very impressive. They only do this
for the team event, I was disappointed. Carry on......

Street Destruction
These are the happenings down the street.......
every morning about 7 am, the dump trucks
start their trips past my front window.
No way to sleep in anymore.....next summer
they will work on the street to the east,
which means my neighbors will get to use our
walkway, between the garage and fence to
get home.....they will not be happy on
grocery days......

The Chopper
The story about the chopper.....Some
veterans went to DC to place ashes
at the wall. On the way
home they stopped at the rock while
Bubba was painting. They asked to
spread the ashes around the bottom
of the rock...Bubba said they would
blow away, why not add to
his paint bucket....they did...NOW,
the chopper is permanent on the rock
and every year he enlarges it with more
ashes from veterans...Carry on Bubba......

The New Iowa Veterans Cemetary
The second stop of the day was at the new
Veteran's Cemetery out by Adel, Iowa. It
is only a year old and we noticed many
families have moved their soldiers to this
facility. I love the message, "Meet you
on the 19th hole".....
